RYA Diesel Engine Maintenance Course

The aim is to prevent you breaking down at sea, but if you do have mechanical problems this course will teach you how to go about getting started again!

One of main reasons for lifeboat callouts to sailing boats and powerboats is machinery failure.  Completing this course will help you avoid becoming another statistic.

The course is equally valuable to the sailor with an auxiliary diesel, or any motor cruising enthusiast.  Do not worry if you have no knowledge of engines or mechanical ability - you will be surprised how straightfoward most of the checks and adjustments are.
